Thanks for all the responses, it makes me feel better about my experiences. Personally I don't care, I love Abby anyway, but for some strange and perplexing reason it makes me feel bad for her, as if she cares! So far she is a very friendly, outgoing and happy dog. She is between 6.5-7.0 lbs. now (at 7 months). I was hoping she would be around 5 lbs. just because my husband is disabled and we are both getting older and I wanted a dog that would be small enough to bathe in the sink and pick up easily. I work and my husband is home all day. He was very attached to our previous dog (a rat terrier). When Peanut died he didn't want another house dog but I got Abby anyway (without telling him!) and now you would think it was all his idea. She is so much company for him. If she lives to be average YT age, she will probably be our last dog, unless I can talk him into getting a brother or sister for Abby!!!
