I totally agree. In my house, new puppy Daisy has 3 adult cats to harass.....I was concerned and protective at first, but then I realized that all this commotion was just a process of communication between them.
Daisy will go into what we like to call 'zoomie mode,' chasing tails and nipping legs, and the cats will growl, hiss, or pop her with their paw. Five seconds later they are entangled in a bear hug, licking each other! I think it is important that they all work this out while Daisy is still little (relatively speaking, lol) so that there won't be problems when she is older.
