 Growing a Show Coat?
Hi. How do I grow a show coat? Ball is 3.5 months old his coat is somewhat wavy but starting to straighten out. I don't want to keep him crated just to preservehis coat....soooo...what do I do? iI've been told use a pure boar bristle brsh and pure stainless comb so I'm looking for those. Do I wrap.and if so how? How often to bathe? He gets pretty dirty. Would like to Try showing with him...just for fun. Yes I know it is a lot of work....but I really need detailed..written instructions. I am visually impaired so I just can't grab a print book or look at a picture. Please give al the advice you can. I don't want the "puppy cuts" the "schnauzer cuts" r the oter "short cute trims" that the local groomers want me to give him. Coat is one of the easons I fell i love with Yorkies fifteen years ago..one of the reasons I've had several. Ball is my baby and now that I have the time I'd like tolearn to do it correctly.
