I inherited a beautiful sleeper sofa and love seat from my mom, but it won't fit thru the door. It's been in the garage for two weeks!!! My mom shipped it to us from Tampa, so returning it is not an option. We had the door removed but it still does not fit. I've called several furniture stores for help, but to no avail. My hubby does not want to remove the door frame, so that's not an option. I tried to find a company in GA who disassembles and assembles furniture but could not find one, yet. The love seat got thru the door, barely. The sofa has a fabric covering, and because it is fairly new...about 3 years, the armrest are not removable.
I know what you are thinking...American Kidney Foundation...Salvation Army, but I really like that set.
Any ides?
