Thank you for updating. I'm not sure what you mean by we "can stop now, you get the point." I think you need to understand the thought of that little guy in so much pain that he was hiding really affected us. Thinking of a dog in hours/days of agony is very hard to read about. Whatever he ate caused some problems, and he was able to push it out. Generally people give a tablespoon or two of canned pumpkin, (not pie filling) to help push out the obstruction. What happens next time he's in pain, and you can't afford to treat him? Is this really fair to him? Some people have a credit card reserved just for pet care, and use it once a year to keep it active, and immediately pay off the balance so it will be good for emergencies. What are you plans for next time you dog is sick? By the way, boiled breast meat (no skin), and rice is good for a dog recovering from intestinal problems, I probably add a tablespoon of pumpkin too.
