My dog used to do that. She'd bring it into the living room, and flip it all over the room, then roll on it for a little bit and then she would eat it. Sometimes she would hit it too hard and it would go under a piece of furniture, so she'd just go and get another piece. She didn't do it as long though if she thought someone was watching her.
