We just graduated from Beginners Obedience and Ginger Bear, 8 months old, came in 1st in Sit/Stay and Down/Stay (both 3 min.) and 3rd Overall in class! She was the only small dog in her class of 12. I have taken my sheepdogs through Companion Dog and wondered how in the world would I go about training a Yorkie puppy! Whoa, was it fun and shockingly easy! Ginger Bear loved the other dogs, the routines and the praise. She responds more to Yipee or Awesome than to a treat. She was the star as she proudly healed, always intently watching me with that Yorkie Smile! We'll start Intermediate Obedience in a few weeks. Keep everyone posted!
