The only thing I know (or think I know anyway) about pet insurance is that 1) unless you pay for the most expensive policy, it usually doesn't cover vaccinations, etc..., and 2) it doesn't cover congenital stuff (anything they were born with. We decided not to get the insurance since I figured the only thing it would cover was basically accidental stuff. Good luck! Hope you get some more good advice.
