I don't know why this is written so much, but it's not true, as Mardelin stated in the ninth post, "The standard reads: Not To Exceed 7 pounds.... " The YTCA is the mother club for the Yorkshire Terrier and sets the standard, so anything you read anywhere else may not be accurate. To the OP, I agree with the others, your Yorkie may have a late growth spurt, Joey also grew quite a bit after 6 months. I think I would skip the carrot, there isn't much nutrition in it, and puppies need all the nutrition they can get. Snacks are better after they eat their food rather than before.
