I don't mean to get this thread off track, but I'm perplexed by rising prices in a bad economy. I understand that inflation is coming, but it shouldn't be noticeable this early.
I'm getting repairs done on my house. The local contractors are not hurting for business, & charging top dollar.
Eighteen months ago a breeder in NJ was selling pups for $2,500. The current litter of pups are selling for $2,800.
Vet prices in my area were very high compared with many other states, e.g., over $400 for neutering 18 months ago. I'm sure the price won't be less, & hopefully won't be more.
If I were to buy another Yorkie, I'd like to get one locally so I could meet the pup, but I'd like to pay a reasonable price considering the current economy. |
