The post listed looking for an AKC Chocolate yorkie. AKC states in the DQ above that any solid color (as described in my previous post) is not recognized.

It is NOT the AKC that makes this standard. It is the small # of YTCA members who agree's and votes on the standard.

While the AKC will place this standard on their website, as they do every breed's standard. On another page of their website...they will gladly accept any breeders $35 (plus $2.00 a pup) to register a chocolate litter of yorkie pups.

And once again...what does this have to do with the OP looking for another chocolate yorkie puppy for her family?
