i worked in general practice for many years but then a few years ago i started working at an emergency and referral center. referral by day, ER nights and weekend. I worked with two board certified surgeons and learned LOTS from them, more then i every learned elsewhere. the whole hospital was a great learning experience as i got to work with internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and behavior as well. excellent place to be.

i left there a few months ago and became a groomer. being a tech is very stressful and most get burnt out. maybe i'll go back to it some day but right now i'm having a blast as a groomer
