So I just got home from taking Sophie to the vet. He did a needle biopsy on her bump and we waited there for the test results to come back. He said that he found bacteria in the fluid and sent us home with an anti-biotic and said that if the bump didn't go away within 10 days we were to come back and he would have to do surgery to remove it. He did say that he didn't think it was cancerous, but wouldn't give a definite answer until it either disappears or is surgically removed. Over all I am feeling pretty hopeful as the bump seemed to go down once he took some fluid out of it. I ask everyone to pray that the bump goes away with anti-biotic treatment.
