what i learned from working with the surgeons is that some regular vets really don't know how to take the proper x-rays. we'd get some absolutely useless rads from RDVMs and would just have to retake them when the pet came to us.

personally i wouldn't worry about her knees so much right now. she's not showing a lot of signs. i'd put her on cosequin or something similar and just watch her. if you think its getting worse after some time then take her to an orthopedic surgeon for an evaluation and x-rays. they'd know best.
I think you nailed it, when you said not to worry so much right now lol...I'm working on that...And good info, too, about letting a specialist do the xrays, if necessary...Didn't realize you worked for orthos, at one time, or are you still doing that?...I do have a recommendation for an ortho clinic, in the event we were to need one...but I think w/the raw, glucosamine, vitamin C, and moderate walking, everyday, we're going to handle it effectively...thanks for your input...
