I fed my puppy Science Diet (small bites) at the recommendation of my vet and she loved it. I have since heard how bad that food is for dogs so I tried several others (including Blue Buffalo which she refused to eat and would literally back away from it). We are now on Royal Canin which takes me some coaxing for her to eat it. She loved science diet and I am debating going back to it since that is the only food she willingly ate. I hate to do that as it is not that good for her but I am sick of trying food and her not liking it. I would say if your dog will eat a better food, to go with something else. It really is not the best food for your puppy.
