I'm willing to switch to washable pads, but the washing machine in my apartment complex is communal, so it would be difficult to wash them daily. Can you think of a better solution? What has worked for you? How do you keep your babies' washable pads from smelling up the house? Thanks bunches!

I fold mine in fourths (in half an half again) with the dirty side in and stack them next to my washer. It holds the smell in just fine. You could do the same only put them in a garbage bag until you get enough to do a load in the laundromat. Usually about four or so makes a load.
