Minnie is four months old and exclusively pee-pad trained. My boyfriend is an environmentalist who thinks that disposable pee pads are wasteful... and smelly. When he visits, he grimaces and complains about Minnie, and asks me why she can't use a littler box.

I'm willing to switch to washable pads, but the washing machine in my apartment complex is communal, so it would be difficult to wash them daily. Can you think of a better solution? What has worked for you? How do you keep your babies' washable pads from smelling up the house? Thanks bunches!
