The likelihood is that everything is going to be just fine.

Pancreatitis can be so difficult because high fat food is supposedly only a trigger. Something else may be behind it and a lower fat diet doesn't always fix the problem. Just out of curiosity though, what is her meat source? Turkey breast? How much oil does she get a day?

I'm guessing it's her pancreas because her Spec cPL has been up before, but at the same time, Ellie was diagnosed by ultrasound (never did a cPL because we didn't need to). Then later her lipase was up and Spec cPL is normal, so maybe it is something else. High lipase can also mean decreased kidney function (possibly from low blood pressure or dehydration) or IBD.
Thanks Layla's Spec this time was year was 720 and then in Feb it was 186- so on the high end of normal but still normal. So originally this WAS a pancreas problem.

Layla' main meat source is turkey- she occasionally gets bison and i've just started to try and bring fish back in (why the week or so before her tests- who knows- maybe not THE best idea)- some talapia and salmon.

Layla get no oils in her diet- she pukes the next day if she gets it.

She has no symptoms to indicate kidney issues so I dont think it is that....
