she felt bad the way she left things on the phone- like she was saying- yes we are unreliable. So she called the manufacturer of the testing device (or whatever) they use. ANYWAYS- as per Crystal's suggestion- we are going to just skip the outside lipase and go right for the Spec cPL at this same lab which is a better marker for pancreas.
No one there seems terribly worried- i assume they know what they are talking about- they are such WONDERFUL people and honestly love Layla so I know they are doing what is best.

200 and below is normal.
200-400 is questionable
400 and up is pancreatitis
This goes for Idexx at least.
