We tried all the expensive dog foods, even raw, and unfortunately my girl continued to have digestive/poop problems so our vet put them on Hills Science Diet I/D. We've added the J/D to it. I haven't had any problems with it. I would have loved to feed them the better quality food but I have to give them what suits their system. I don't think it'll hurt giving it to your baby but I'd ask your vet just to make sure. Plus... you should ease your baby off one food to another - start mixing a little of the new one into the old food and continue to increase the new one. That way your baby's system has time to adjust to the change.
