All came back well except her Lipase (Layla has pancreatitis- when she went for her blood work in Feb they were 800) which was 5330- (under 900 is normal- last october it was only 3000 which would lead me to believe thigns have gotten worse- although she still shows NO signs) What PISSES me off is the vet tech says- well our testing on this usually runs higher than most labs (as in it is NOT accurate). now this totally pisses me off because a) how is that reliable? and b) i have a dog with a pancreas history- why do I HAVE TO PAY extra to have it sent to the outside lab to get a more accurate result? AND they wanted to wait 6 months to retest to the outside lab- grrrr.

So we are having it sent to the outside lab to get the "real" result and she will get back to me tomorrow.

I am so upset- I really thought all oft his lipase stuff was behind us- i PRAY things come back ok tomorrow.
