No, and that's what stinks. I don't know *why* Nikon is not making their 50mm in an AFS lens, it's so lame.
You'd have to get
the 30mm Sigma , which is what I bought for the D40 (and still have) - it's a nice lens, but not cheap at all. Or, here is a
50mm in Sigma . Or, this
Nikon 35mm *might* be interesting...looks like it's AF-S?
