I don't really understand what your vet means by that as all allergies appear "suddenly", even though you've never had a reaction appear before...it's no different w/ food.

I would get him off the Euk. asap. Allergy dogs, whether food or enviro, should be on a grain free diet, if at all possible. Beef and chicken allergies are the most common meat allergies, btw. Even though his allergies are likely enviro, I'd highly recommend a different kibble - where do you get your food? Petco sells Solid Gold Barking at The Moon - that'd be my first thought. Or, Wellness CORE.
