Everyone's story on here is so amazing, we could string together the chapters and write a book! So inspiring. I've had Nicky for 6 weeks now and while he has progressed to the point where he doesn't hide when he's home with us (unless someone outside our family comes over) he will still not let anyone but me pick him up or walk him. Anytime anyone else tries, he tries to bite (has bitten two people already) and promptly poops all over. He has even pooped while being held. He is so scared, the poor thing loses all bowel control. He sleeps snuggled against me and just wants to be held, but I am concerned that no one else has been able to walk him. I come home from work everyday at lunch, but it is putting a strain on things at my job. Has anyone had this experience and and have any suggestions? I haven't had time yet to do some research but I definitely need help with this. |
