Actually, the vet recommended I not do surgery...She said there may be a possiblity of needing surgery later on, if a tendon/ligament (?) stretched to much...She said some dogs live there whole life w/mild LP and do fine...I'm feeling real positive about it....However, Apple is having her spay and teeth removal on the 29th, so I'm going to ask for lots and lots and lots of prayers for a speedy recovery and not much pain
