! Our Humane Ass'n does very inexpensive spay/neuters - I think they also have a mobile unit. They also do microchip while they're under too, which is great. I don't know who their vets are, but maybe you can call and dig for more info so your comfortable? And ask about their anesthesia protocol...esp. for small doggies.
