Penny sleeps with us and we make a little "cave" at the end of the bed with a blanket. It is hilarious how she goes and fusses with the blanket until she gets it juuuust right.
The cover comes off to wash it. You take out the part that holds the top up, and slip out the inner "bag" of stuffing, and just wash.

This bed would be for Bonnie to curl up on while we are away from home during the day. She sleeps under my bed at night, even though her bed is right beside the bed. I would love her to sleep in the bed with us during the night, but DH does not like that idea. He has sleep apnea and I have fibromyalgia, so I don't sleep well anyway. The least little movement wakes me up, so when DH is not home and she is on the bed with me, I wake up every time she moves, licks, scratches.... But she does get up and snuggle with me after the alarm goes off
