He's still an infant and generally they have just spurts of playtime then a nap. I wouldn't push the walking on a leash, and not on any public walk till he's had his shots. You can get him use to a harness first. Just put it on him for only about a couple of minutes three or four times a day, then very gradually increase the time he wears it. Next, just hook the leash on the harness and just walk around "with" him, wherever he wants to walk, as long as it's in your house or yard. The practice will pay off when he's completed his shots and your able to go on a "real" walk.
