I free feed Peanut. He gets 1/4 of a cup in his bowl at a time. He isnt much of an eater.. It will take him about a day 1/2 to have an empty bowl. He also gets treats during the day, sometimes I will give him a little cottege chesse ( if DH didnt eat it all) or some yogurt... But he is in perfect health, weight is great.
I would just put whatever amount your food says and leave it down and see how he does with it..
