Kind of like when people have no job and say...well I am better than McDonalds...so they would rather make no income than "go that low". It is ridiculous. Gosh, the other day we went to Subway and it looked like drug dealers were running the place. The women was talking on her phone and kept going in and out, the two men looked like they were strung out. So when I got the number for customer complaints, the women looked like she was going to hit me.
People are afraid to complain anymore. It is sad and we should. The standard is lowering because everyone is accepting it. I'm sure 20 or 50 years ago you had lazy people...the difference was the customers complained and didn't accept it.
And Nancy, I know exactly what you are saying about the phone robots. The Disney company kept sending me DVDs that I declined but they sent any way...so I wanted to talk to someone so I was not responsible for shipping. They kept sending me the number that was automated...finally I found out the only time you can get a live person was to call to sign up. (They tried to sign me up and I told them I had a problem, and they had no other choice but to fix it since I was already on the line. ) |
Makes me angry to hear even the Disney Company has sunk so low, bet Walt wouldn't have approved of that!
