WOW! She is selfish! I know your feelings must be hurt.

Some people think a dog is nothing to get attached to. She is not a true friend because if she were she would understand how much Coby means to you even though you didn't give birth to him. Especially when he was very sick. He is your furbaby!

I'd leave her be and let her stew in her own anger. When she decides to talk or ask you what happen between you, tell her she was disrespectful of your choice for family life and feelings, and you don't need friends like that.
