do you think that maybe she's feeling a bit overwhelmed with motherhood? I know that it can be scary but at the same time, she shouldn't be pushing her friends away either. She may not even realize how she has treated you, so let her get her bearings and maybe have a girl's night with just you and her (get her hubby to babysit-lol) and get it all out in the open. You are obviously important to her that she would ask you to be Godmother.
Maybe make it a dual thing and have her be Cody's Godmother-?? can't hurt to ask and maybe she'll see the levity and appreciate it.
