Out of my five, Rita who is 6 years old, is the only one that does not jump at all, even if you hold a treat above her head. We put her on the couch, she will stay there until we put her down. If she decides she wants down, she will run back & forth across the couch until we put her down. Rita does not use the steps to the bed either. She is average size & weighs 6 lbs.
