Penny has always gotten carsick too.
We are starting classes at PetSmart this Friday and it is a 25 minute ride each way, so I guess we will see if she gets over it or not.
We did purchase some homeopathy for dogs that is supposed to keep them from getting sick, I will report back on how that goes too. We have to get her used to travel before we take her to California on a plane and lots and lots of car rides while we are there for two weeks.
