Thanks for eveyones input. I took him to the vet. Saturday. Ben has some type of immune system deficiency. He will be ok and live a long life; however, will need to take steroids every 2- 3 days. Apparently, this type of thing runs in pure breed dogs. It can also show up in people too. The vet threw out a lot of terms, but the best I can explain is when something is breed too much they are susceptible to certain diseases. For lact of a better term, I guess you could call it a "blue blooded disease". I did not realize that Lupus in humans is also from "overbreading". I will take him in tomorrow for a byopsy to make sure he has this immunne deficiency abnormality thing. He is also going to have a tooth removed. So they are going to put under anestiasa. Please say a little prayer that everything goes ok. And, Yes I am a terrible speller. I always do spell check but am on a new system and can not locate.
