Seriously, it seemed a little creepy to "massage" that tick but I bet it actually was less than 30 seconds. WAY easier, IMHO, than pulling with tweezers. I did try that first and the pup cried so loud that I knew it was hurting her. Try the "dizzy tick" method on one of your rescues and let me know if you think it's easy. Or have someone else try it if it creeps you out. The thing is, once it lets go, you can just pick it up and throw it in alcohol or do whatever else you do to kill them. But this way you actually see the entire head still attached to the body and know that you got it all.
