My Xena is chipped and wears a collar with ID. She bolted out the door on me the other day and took off hells bells down the street with me in hot pursuit! It was raining cats and dogs and she could have cared less. What a funny site it must have been, me chasing and cursing in my attempt to catch her before something happened. As it was traffice stopped for us thankfully and I was able to grab her two blocks away. Good thing too for I was out of breath by then. I'm 56 years young, pant pant! Getting too old to go chasing dogs! D'oh! I was so angry with her I could have punted her to the next block! That lasted all of about 30 seconds though, one look at her pitiful little wet face melted all my frustration. Gotta love 'em!

its ok i was jst meaning to say that regardless of chip or ID tag or whtevr if i knew a dog was mine i would fight for her.
But hey Chili that poses another question. If someone took your dog could they go to the vet and get the dog chipped and say it was their dog? or can dogs be double chipped?
