My puppy is 8 months old and she gets fed twice a day with treats in between. She is putting on weight and growing, so twice is enough for her.
She also stopped wanting to eat three times, so we went to two meals a day. If she doesn't want to eat that much anymore, two meals should be fine. Just check that the puppy is growing and putting on weight.
