Hi and welcome. I think I need a bit more information to be able to give advice........Is this a very young Yorkie with teeth coming in for the first time, or an older puppy who is losing his milkteeth? Does he eat kibble or soft food? I think he would still be able to chew with his back teeth, but perhaps the canine areas are very sore? Are his gums still a healthy pink?
