any GOOD DSLR you will not be able to use the screen to take the picture- the screen turns off as your eye approaches the eye piece and then once you are done taking the picture you will see it on the screen.
I just got a Canon Rebel xTi and am IN LOVE with it. I am taking lessons next week as I am sure there are a million more things it can do that i don't know about yet
