If the dog traveled far, not much. But, in that case, it is a slim chance anyway.

I tell people all of the time...first thing to do is to flood the area the dog disappeared in with signs! Put a description and pic if possible and a telephone number....as large as possible!

Then, call shelters in the area....and call them EVERY day! Sometimes a dog will end up in a shelter days later and the shelters do not always keep track of who has a lost pet. Just keep calling!
