The high in south Florida was 71 degrees today . I let my girl out this morning and she was freezing. So I got out her sweater and that did not help. She has been in bed all day under covers with her sweather on. We have been trying to get her to move all day, she refuses. She just looks at us like we are crazy . My girl is a true Floridian. Anybody else in Florida with a freezing Yorkie? |
Yepper! I've got five of them! Yesterday morning , 6:30am, we all went outside for our first potty of the day. I've never seen five dogs go that fast in my life! At first, the two new ones sat down in front of me, shivering, even though they all had shirts on. I said, you gotta go potty first. They took off did both pee & poo and high tailed it back to the door. The littlest one, Peanut isn't big enough to push his way through the doggy door so he was there "boxing" the flap, trying to get in!
It was 51 degrees and none of them wanted any part of it. I was enjoying it myself after all the heat & humidity we've had.
