Puppies do go through growth spurts. While chart is a good estimate, it's not a 100% sure thing.

As far as overfeeding, I wouldn't worry about it. Puppies need to eat and overfeeding her isn't going to make her grow any larger than she would normally. She'll be whatever size (as in frame) her genes dictate and you can't change that. She may be a little "fatter" but IMO puppies need to be fat. Once she hits the 7-8 month range I would start watching her weight. A good rule of thumb is to feel her ribcage -- you should be able to feel her ribcage but it shouldn't be too bony. It's hard to explain but you'll instinctively know when you feel it.
