how much does your puppy weigh?

It is easier to have them on a feeding schedule so they can also be on a potty schedule. most do this if they are outside training. i did it with morgan in the beginning. since he's not used to it you really need to make sure he is eating at meal time.

At 11 weeks old he should be eating at least 3 times a day, if he wants to eat 4 times and your home to do it, that's fine as well. i did a three time a day schedule.

basically what you do is place the food bowl down for 15-20 minutes at feeding times. after the 20 minutes you pick up whatever they didn't eat. they will usually go potty 15-30 minutes after eating. some go immediately and some take a little longer. after pooping, they get supervised free rein of the house for a little while. puppies have to potty many times a day, usually after eating, playing, and sleeping. after doing this for a few days you will begin to see a pattern in their habits and can adjust their schedule accordingly. with a puppy that young tho you need to make sure they are eating. at around 14-15 weeks morgan decided she didn't want to eat lunch anymore so she just ate twice a day which was ok.
