I agree it's really hard to prove. Basically it's thier word against ours. It is just pure carelessness.
Susansmom- I totally understand where your coming from. It's not like i'm going to ever sell, show or breed Ruby but the value of the breed standard was altered by the vet (in a very small way) but it was. And the fact that i do have to look at it now for the rest of her life and remember that stupid vet.
Ruby is still cuter than ever and my little baby and i love her soooo much but it just makes me sad that something like that happened to her for no reason.
