Many many moons ago, my precious Tea'la was hurt when I came home from work, apparently she was playing with her toy and smacked her little head THROUGH a wall.. Needless to say she spent a week in intensive care and the vet chewed me out big time, all I could do is ball as I held her in my arms. Well, she was my miracle baby and made it with no side effects, PRAISE THE LORD!!! They are so small and our homes are so big to them, all it would take is jumping off the couch wrong and snap! YIKES!!! They actually feel more secure in their crates and I know for a fact that when I walk in the door my babies will be safe and secure. I don't know if this will work for you and your situation, all I know is it works for me. Best wishes with Buddy!

Thank you for your suggestions. Buddy is 16lbs and we have not used
a crate since he was 6mos old. I don't think that will work for us.
He didn't like it then so once he was trained at six months, he had free run of the house.
I will, however, give him less room by keeping the two bedroom doors closed.
I can't wait to get home tonight.
