Listen you might need to do that thing where you hug them and then walk out the door and wait a few minutes and come right back in. Increase the time outside. So he knows your coming back. They eventually get that your not leaving them. I remember that they also said to give them a treat or toy to distract them when your leaving or do your best to wear them out from playing so they sleep while your gone. |
Hi Beth,
I am exhusted from keeping this guy happy.
I sit each morning from 6:30-7:00 playing with him. Been doing this
for 5yrs as well.
I leave him with a treat, a hug a kiss. It's been 5yrs and after
yesterday I am at a loss. It's his way or no way he's saying to me.
I only hope the nightgown helps him. Never, ever has it been this bad.
He also get's walked twice before I leave, at 6 and 8.
I can't stop thinking about the anxiety attack or panic attack I think he
had. That's a first.
