 Not Unsual, You're Yorkie is A Good Dog
There are times when our Bella wakes up in the middle of the night and has to potty. Sometimes both. We have come to accept that she, like people, doesn't always stay to here normal schedule. So I would suggest getting up with your Yorkie and allowing him to potty as usual. He's having an accident because he has to go. You've obviously done a GREAT job with potty training.
