weight Nothing is 100%..the rule of thumb is triple at 8 and double at 12 week..with the 12 week weight being more accurate. If you double at 16 weeks you might get one far too small for breeding, but certainly would know if it was going to be a small pet.
If a pet buyer looks at a pup who is 3 pounds at 8 weeks..rarely will it be 6 pounds as an adult..that is quite large at 8 weeks. Each line is different and I perfer the 12 wks weight doubled.
I would guess this pup will be at least 6 pounds and perhaps a bit more...if you are paying for a tiny it is unlikely, depends on what you want. |
