Is Sugar really tiny? Or does she actually look underweight? My baby Mija is now 16 months and weighs 2lbs but she is very tiny...she still fits in the palm of my hands. It took her a long time though to get to 2lbs and she hasn't been gaining any weight for a few months now. At 3 months she weighed 1lb and didn't reach 2lbs until she was about 12 months. She got spayed when she was 10 months. At that age it was obvious she wasn't going to grow much more but the vet examined her and said that she had developed normally so they weren't scared for her weight at all. Everything went perfectly. I used to be scared of her weight/size because she was so little compared to other dogs but she's happy and healthy so i guess shes just a very tiny little one.
